Who we are. Sales Provenance (“Sales Provenance,” “we,” “us”) is a marketing attribution product operated by Silver Path Marketing, LLC, 2624 Monroe St. #209, Madison, WI 53711. Contact: eagan@silverpathmarketing.com.

What this policy covers. How we handle data when our agency clients use Sales Provenance, including data we access from connected third-party services (Google, Meta, and others).

Information we collect.

  • Account data: name, email, and login credentials of users we create for client access.
  • Connected-service data: when a user connects a Google account, we access only the data permitted by the scopes they grant: Search Console (search performance), Google Analytics (traffic and conversions), Google Ads (campaign performance, and we upload offline conversion events), and Google Business Profile (location performance, and we may update the listed phone number for call tracking). We also read the connected account’s email and basic profile solely to identify the account.
  • Website-visitor data (first-party tracking): on websites where our tracking snippet is installed, we collect page views, referral source, UTM and ad-click identifiers, and, when a visitor submits a form or makes a tracked call, the contact details they provide. This supports attribution reporting for the website owner.
  • Call data: for clients using call tracking, we record and transcribe calls where permitted by law, to provide call reporting and lead scoring.

How we use Google user data (Limited Use). We use Google data only to provide and improve the reporting and attribution features requested by the account owner who granted access. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising to the user, and do not transfer it except to service providers that operate Sales Provenance on our behalf. Our use complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we store and protect data. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. Access is partitioned per client workspace with role-based access control. We use industry-standard safeguards.

Subprocessors. We use third-party providers to host and operate Sales Provenance (cloud hosting, database, call transcription, email and SMS delivery).

Data retention and deletion. We retain data for as long as the client account is active. A user can disconnect any integration at any time, which revokes our access token. To request deletion of an account and its data, contact eagan@silverpathmarketing.com; we delete within 30 days.

Your rights. Depending on your location (GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. Contact us at eagan@silverpathmarketing.com.

Changes. We will post updates here with a revised date.
